Safe, secure, clean park. Gated with mobile security. Quiet after dark. Not many restaurants near by.
One last comment- they have NO problem taking your money in excess! Their rates keep going up but the service, upkeep and security go south. Robbery at its finest!
As was stated in other reviews, security is terrible! In no way can you leave anything out and expect it to stay. Cars with no pass tags to resort come and go as they please all day long with no guard at the front gate checking. They sit there at night while the gate is closed, that's not much help! As stated poorly run !!! OH - don't get me started on the grass and yard care / foot tall grass before they mow. Their trimming abilities leave something to be desired also.
Very well kept RV Park, very enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anybody that is staying for a short, or a long time.
if you're thinking about moving here or renting a cabin, let me save you some time and money. fortunately i do not personally live here; however i have family that does so i frequent here often. first off there has been a major issue with property being stolen or vandalized during the day. this park is gated, but only during the night. during the day anybody and everybody can come and go as they please. that is when the property stealing happens. at 8pm the gate closes and you must have a card to enter. for the past two nights in a row i've had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the older gentlemen that runs nightly surveillance. he is very rude and actually yelled at me..close enough to where i could smell the stench of tobacco emitting from his breath. talk about giving someone a little bit of power and them running with it. what he needs to be concerned about is the people that actually are stealing from that property and not someone who has been in and out visiting for 2+ years. then there is the money hungry issue with this park. just this past weekend my in laws were coming from out of state to visit for father's day and we're looking into renting a cabin. they were told that they would be charged over $100 for renting the morning and another $100+ for staying the evening AND THEN ANOTHER $100+ for sunday morning. what kind of place charges for both morning and evening rental service? even a hotel gives you until mid morning to checkout before being charged an additional day. this place is just a joke. don't waste your time, money, or energy dealing with these people.
I concur with the poor comments on these reviews. This may or may not affect their business, but the truth must be told. I've been here for close to three years, have seen many come and go. Granted some needed to leave, but a lot of good campers have left due to poor management. Although some of the staff may be pleasant, I think everyone would agree Donna is not one of them. She makes up her own rules to avoid any and all confrontation. There is no uniformity or fairness in her decisions. Poor customer service from her!
Very easy access to pull throughs. Well maintained. Nice people. Only complaint is no refunds if you leave early
My daughter stayed in one of the cabins, the shower head broke, I fixed it but called for extra towels. As my daughter was taking a shower, the maid let herself into the cabin and knocked on the bathroom door!!! Can we say ILLEGAL!
